When used correctly in the workplace, colour contributes to staff wellbeing and productivity. It’s a key component to creating an effective working environment, yet it is often over-looked; despite the fact that it has such a profound influence, for instance, warm colours, such as, red, yellow and orange can make the temperature in the room seem warmer while cool colours like blue and green make the environment seem colder.

In this guide, we define the characteristics of 10 colours (accepting each is open to personal interpretation), explain their effect on us and where they can best be used.
