Following a lease expiry at their existing premises, student accommodation provider Liberty Living relocated to the fifth floor of Peninsular House.
Working with agent and project manager Knight Frank, Area needed to deliver Liberty Living’s new workplace for its 60 employees. Liberty Living wanted their new workspace to reflect their own brand identity and culture, as well as provide a homely and comfortable environment to help attract and retain quality people.
From the project outset, Area worked closely with Liberty Living to ensure their new workplace aligned with their brand identity. The finishes palette, graphic designs and colour scheme were all carefully considered to differentiate the formal front-of-house meeting facilities from the vibrant back-of-house workspace.
Supporting staff wellbeing, an attractive breakout space has been designed to encourage collaboration between teams. Furthermore, a variety of formal and informal meeting spaces including 1:1 meeting facilities, phone booths and railway carriage meeting areas have also been installed.
“What was particularly interesting about this project was working with Liberty Living’s project team to understand their brand and ensure it was sympathetically applied to the workplace environment. In addition to this, Liberty Living have a strong brand identity which needed to be carefully considered when designing the right work settings for them. The result is an engaging and collaborative workspace that supports the community working within it.” Project Director, Area
