The brief

LG Electronics UK Ltd (LG) were relocating from a two-building premises in Slough to a high-profile building in the Velocity development at Brooklands Business Park. Providing a new home for their LGE UK Headquarters, the office space needed to support the company’s objective to accommodate all employees under one roof, as well as reflect the brand’s identity as a leading global technology manufacturer.

The solution

The project transformed the Velocity 2 site to create a modern work environment, equipped with fully-catered kitchen space and stunning product showroom facilities, as well as develop available car parking and 100 cycle spaces.

The main challenge was ensuring LG’s unique working culture was considered, and specific requirements of individual teams were accommodated. To meet the brief, the majority of the space is open plan to encourage collaborative working between the onsite staff, and top floor roof terraces provide functional spaces for socialising and break-out workgroups.
