The brief

Following extensive expansion, IT and security operations provider Ivanti took a larger floor within their existing building. The development of its Bracknell office is the second in a series of national workplaces being created for Ivanti, which was formed following the merger of LANDESK and HEAT Software in January 2017 and previous acquisitions of Wavelink, Shavlik, Xtraction, AppSense, Concorde and RES.

Working with project manager Francis Hunter, Area were tasked with delivering the Cat B refurbishment of 3 Arlington Square, which is the location of LANDESK’s former offices. Having completed the original project of LANDESK’s earlier workplace project, Area have used their existing knowledge of the building, as well as working closely with Ivanti’s project team to create a modern and fresh-looking workplace design.

Our solution

As a result of numerous design workshops, brief building sessions with the client, as well as interactive ‘sketch-up’ meetings with the stakeholder team, Ivanti’s new workplace has been designed to inspire, connect and increase the productivity and happiness of its staff. All staff are located on one floor plate to provide a connected, visible and collaborative workspace.

Key features include a range of flexible meeting spaces, a central tea point, and breakout hub. Wanting to offer an innovative client experience for visitors, the front-of-house space will feature an experience centre, as well as modern and relaxed demonstration areas for customers to test Ivanti’s latest products.

"It was great to work with Area on this project. From the offset they understood our brief and really immersed themselves in our culture to ensure we had the perfect new space. During the fit-out they were in control, well organised and professional."

Project insight

“We are delighted to have worked with Ivanti to deliver their workplace project in Bracknell. Their workspace will play an instrumental role in bringing together the individual businesses that have come together to form Ivanti. Therefore, the design concept has taken this into consideration, ensuring it’s the right solution to enhance their culture, whilst also creating the right working platforms for staff to feel productive, supported and most importantly, happy.” - Spencer Meredith, Project Director, Area
