Enterprise Rent-A-Car had a clear vision for their new workplace; improve communication, collaboration and productivity whilst incorporating sustainable design elements, celebrate their heritage and engage with the local community. Melburne Park in Egham was selected to consolidate numerous disparate offices into a central EMEA Headquarters.
Working with Project Manager Francis Hunter, Area installed multiple workstations, training, collaboration and breakout zones, providing a wide variety of inspiring and dynamic areas for different work uses. A feature staircase with a striking stretched light-box now connects all three floors and joins people and teams together, some for the first time. The strong Enterprise heritage and branding was reflected in the design and represented through a feature reception display, bold wall graphics and careful selection of materials. Furniture pieces were supplied by sister company Sketch Studios.
"Our company was founded on the principle that if you take care of your customers and your employees first, then the profits will follow. It is this ethos which has inspired our new headquarters. We have created a positive space for our staff while minimising our environmental impact."
Senior Vice President of European Operations, Enterprise Rent-A-Car
